Rob, Good comments mate we are all trying hard to make our club a good place to be. The decision to utilise the "boy band" was based on the fact that their performances warranted their inclusion and if H had not wanted some back to help his push for the title we would have had them again yesterday. A couple are about a season away from where they need to be but their attitude, and willingness to learn in training is like a breath of fresh air. You guys that have brought them this far need a big thank-you I hope that we can take them on to the next level. Ray Sherwood will become a pro and I think Lee Morley ain't gonna be far behind, another testament to our youth policy which I believe in. Usually a senior club gets 1 or 2 good players from the youth we have surpassed that and sometimes it may not look like we are keeping tabs on players at the club believe u me, Dennis,Jb and myself are, hence the squad at the final. One final comment.. Ray stop wan...g off Bullseye when uve had a couple and Tommy Mac, the dye needs to be done again on ur eyelashes....
Just wanted to say well done to all the players from thursday night. We may not have brought home the silver ware, but in my opionion you were in every department a match for are high flying opposition, lets remember what they have achieved this season, they all but won the league a month ago, they had lost one game all season, and were unbeaton for 31 games before thursday night.I thought the defence was outstanding (yes i did see there third goal in extra time ) but to keep this lot down to a handfull of chances over 120 mins was outstanding, there two strikers had scored 79 goals between them, thats more than most teams have managed this season. from the second half onwards the midfeild won control of the game for us,and up front we have players that will always to be a threat to any defence. It has been a great season, and it could not look better for the future,go Bedfont Green.
On a personel note id just like to say how refreshing it was to see so many of the youth team boys coming through to make the first team squad for such a big game. For whatever reason that they were there, the likes of Adam,Tom,Ryan and Jimi all bold well for the future of the club.

Well, what a season. Could finish in the top 8 and took Merstham all the way in the final of a cup. Mr chairman and myself have had words over the years and a couple of years ago he stated that the Green were not ready for me yet. Now I realise what he meant and they most certainly are ready for me now... I would also like to add that the backing that we have had as a management team has been second to none, so a big thank you to all.. its not many clubs that had a director of football sometimes do the kit. We all muck in and that has been evident this season. There have been a couple of players that have taken a bit of stick from the management team but have come good and I hope they realise that we have been there and have seen it and just want them to better themselves from what we have gone through. A big up to Merstham good luck to Mick and the second best Chairman in non league football ( a bit of bias there as Doug is my no1 ) in the Ryman next year .. ps they may have to play a bit more direct... Looking forward to Saturday vs Dorking and hope that we win our last two games and finish our season on a high. Thank-you to Bobby Betts for getting me involved with footie again after not being involved for a year and a thank-you to Dennis for taking me on board and giving me the authority to make our men up top some of the best finishers in the league. I have not enjoyed myself as much in football since I was actually playing...Ashford/Staines/Woking even though last nite was hard to take I think we all learned valuable lessons and Brownie and Privvet aside an average of 21 boads wee for the future.. Most of the boys are young enough to be my children and sometimes I forget that.. We are all learning.. Doug says that he is giving up being Dan Lucas's minder on the 3rd May at Yeading I cannot make it so a big good luck Doug and maybe u will stop ruining peoples weekends ( private joke ) Well thats me done ,, enjoy life, football and take every game and breath as your last,,

Could somebody pass on one Wimbledon fan's wishes to him for a speedy recovery? I'm sure many others would want to join in good wishes to one of our "unsung heroes".

Well guys , As i said before the season started , i was not impress with some players that were coming down to the green, Yes i did think that Dennis was mad . STILL IS. The players he has brought in now are good players and i am glad to say , we have a good team , players coming in from the ressies, also the youth team. This club can go far , As long as the players do their stuff on the pitch , the guys and gals, behind the scenes will do the rest. Here i will add a bit to the players , Lee Pearce. Good keeper, shakes the ground well. Stephen ( smurf) Bainborough Gary ( in the book ) Hedges, Plays well. Dwayne ( SPEAK ENGLISH ) Golding. Loves to play at the back Ray ( the quite one ) Sherwood, Learn to Shout. Chris ( The ponytail ) Emmons. Class player. Jon - Barrie Bates, ( the general ) Gets the midfield rolling Craig ( The sniffer ) White, The reader of the middle. Steve ( Slippery ) Coultas, Must learn to stand up. Aaron ( Punchy ) McLeish, Could go along way, if mind is right. Adie ( Fluffer ) Barrance . Could score more , Chris ( Lighting ) Henry . One of the best in the team Gary ( Heavy Weight ) Brown. The joker of the side. hehe Phil ( The poser ) Plays a good game , reads well Andy ( roly poly ) Smith. Adie needs to learn off him, was a good striker in his days. , Just like me , but i can head a ball better then him. hehe Dennis ( can't sit down ) Bainborough, Likes a roll up, Cup of tea, Done well to get the players , he has got , Keep it up . Just a laugh boys , if you want to get me back , just write on here. haha.
